Grilled Camembert Cheese

  • 1 French [if possible] Camembert cheese round, packed into a wooden box
  • Small pieces of bread
  • Remove paper wrapping around cheese; transfer cheese back into wooden box.
  • Make a well into the center hot charcoals; arrange Camembert cheese, in the box, into the center of the well and cover the box with hot charcoals.
  • Watch carefully, as Camembert cheese should not get too hot, or it will melt into the hot charcoals.
  • It is ready when cheese just pushes up the top of the box, after approximately 10 minutes.
  • Remove the top of the box, remove cheese crust with the tip of a knife and enjoy, dipping in bread bites.
