Curried Fish Steak Bundles

Comments: In order to discover new flavors, add some eggplant slices along with other vegetable slices.
Serve this dish along with any spicy sauces.
Servings: 4
  • 4 halibut, tuna or turbot steaks
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons [10 m] curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] curcuma
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] vegetable oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Arrange each fish steak onto a piece of al foil.
  • Evenly top each fish steak with onion and tomato slices.
  • Into a bowl, mix together curry powder, curcuma, white wine vinegar, vegetable oil and lime juice.
  • Pour 1 tablespoon [15 mL] mixture over each fish steak.
  • Tightly wrap into al foil.
  • Barbecue bundles over medium charcoals for 15 minutes, turning bundles once.
  • To serve, evenly spoon remaining curry powder mixture over each fish steak.
