- 4 halibut, tuna or turbot steaks
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 2 teaspoons [10 m] curry powder
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] curcuma
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] white wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] vegetable oil
- Juice of 1 lime

- Arrange each fish steak onto a piece of al foil.
- Evenly top each fish steak with onion and tomato slices.
- Into a bowl, mix together curry powder, curcuma, white wine vinegar, vegetable oil and lime juice.
- Pour 1 tablespoon [15 mL] mixture over each fish steak.
- Tightly wrap into al foil.
- Barbecue bundles over medium charcoals for 15 minutes, turning bundles once.
- To serve, evenly spoon remaining curry powder mixture over each fish steak.
