- 4 [10 to 12-ounce / 284 to 340-g each] dressed rainbow or brook trouts
- Lemon[s], squeezed
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon juice
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] Sherry
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] soy sauce
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced

- Brush trouts thoroughly with lemon juice; transfer trouts into a shallow dish.
- Combine 1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon juice, Sherry, soy sauce, vegetable oil and minced garlic for marinade; pour all over trouts.
- Let stand for 1 hour, turning once.
- Remove trouts from marinade and arrange into greased hinged wire basket.
- Preheat gas grill.
- Cook trouts on medium setting for 12 to 15 minutes, turning once and brushing frequently with marinade.
