- 4 salmon steaks
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] water
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Roasted sesame sees, to serve

- Mix together Dijon mustard, dark brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil and water.
- Preheat barbecue to medium heat.
- Brush salmon steaks on both sides with olive oil; salt and pepper salmon steaks.
- Brush one side of salmon steaks with half of Dijon mustard mixture.
- Grill onto warm barbecue rack for 5 minutes.
- Brush top or salmon steaks with remaining Dijon mustard mixture and delicately turn salmon steaks over.
- Grill salmon steaks for 5 minutes more.
- Serve salmon steaks immediately, sprinkled with roasted sesame seeds.
