- 1 pound [454 g] white fish fillets, into pieces
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] paprika
- 8 slices bacon
- Metal skewers, double shafts if possible

- Preheat barbecue to high heat.
- Into a shallow glass dish, mix together lemon juice and paprika.
- Add white fish pieces; stir until well coated.
- Half bacon slices; roll one piece of bacon all around each piece of fish.
- Securely thread onto skewers.
- Lower barbecue temperature to medium-low.
- Arrange skewers onto hot barbecue rack.
- Barbecue turning skewers whenever necessary until fish is well-done, for approximately 8 minutes.
