Pirate Steak [barbecue]

Comments: For this recipe, you can use any sweeter or less spareribs sauce of your choice.
These steaks can also be fried into a hot frypan.
Serve these steaks along with boiled tiny new potatoes.
Servings: 4 to 6
  • 1 [12-ounce / 340-mL] jar cherry sauce
  • 1 [12-ounce / 340-mL] jar spareribs sauce
  • 4 to 6 surlonge steaks
  • Arrange steaks side-by-side into a deep glass dish.
  • Into a bowl, mix together cherry and spareribs sauces; pour sauce into a plastic zip-lock bag.
  • Add steaks; turn bag over to well coat steaks with sauce.
  • Refrigerate; leave steaks to marinate for approximately 1 hour.
  • Remove steaks from marinade.
  • Either barbecue steaks over really hot charcoals.
