- 1 [1 1/2-pound / 680-g] flank steak
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] garllic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] any mixed meat, vegetable... or popcorn enhancing spices

- Preheat barbecue to medium intensity.
- Tenderize steak using a metal mallet.
- Into a small bowl, mix together vegetable oil, lemon juice, garlic powder and mixed spices.
- Brush mixture over both sides of steak.
- Grill steak directly over heat source onto hot barbecue rack for 17 to 21 minutes turning steak at half time, until a meat thermometer indicates 160°F [70°C].
