- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup [250 mL] mild smoked barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] milk
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] any mixed meat, vegetable... or popcorn enhancing spices
- 2 pounds [900 g] ground lamb

- Preheat barbecue to medium intensity.
- Into a large bowl, mix together beaten egg, mild smoked barbecue sauce, rolled oats, milk, garlic salt and mixed enhancing spices.
- Add ground lamb and well mix together all ingredients.
- Shape mixture into 1/2-inch [1.3-cm] thick patties.
- Grill directly over medium embers for 10 to 13 minutes turning patties at half time, until a meat thermometer indicates 160°F [71°C].
