Caribou Steak

Comments: Caribou is also called Canadian moose or reindeer.
The number of steaks needed varies according to the number of guests and the size of the steaks - quantities of remaining ingredients will vary accordingly.

  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] garlic puree
  • Pinch freshly chopped parsley
  • Caribou steak[s]
  • Mix together vegetable oil, soy sauce, garlic puree and chopped parsley.
  • Marinate caribou steak[s] in marinade for at least 4 hours, refrigerated.
  • Arrange caribou steak[s] over a preheated, hot barbecue rack.
  • Barbecue until done to taste.
