Really, Really Easy Pizza [barbecue]
Comments: Preparation Time : 5 minutes.
Asiago cheese : semi-lean pressed half-cooked Italian cheese.
Slice pizza into fine wedges to serve along with drinks, or into larger wedges to serve as a light meal.

  • 1 pizza shell
  • 1 cup [250 mL] Italian tomato sauce
  • Approximately 1/2 cup [115 g] grated Asiago cheese
  • 1 cup [225 g] grated Mozzarella cheese
  • Oil
  • Preheat barbecue to low heat.
  • Spread Italian tomato sauce all over pizza dough.
  • Sprinkle all of tomato sauce with grated Asiago cheese, then with grated Mozzarella cheese.
  • Transfer pizza over lightly oiled warm barbecue rack.
  • Barbecue to completely melt both cheeses, until rack has lightly colored bottom of dough.
