- 8 meaty chicken wings
- 2 large garlic cloves, into strips
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] olive oil
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] paprika
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] chili powder
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] oregano
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Lime wedges, to serve

- Preheat barbecue to medium intensity.
- Using a sharp knife, cut one or two slits in then skin of each chicken wing; press garlic strips under the skin.
- Generously coat chicken wings with olive oil.
- Into a large bowl, mix together paprika, chili powder, oregano and lots of salt and freshly gorund black pepper.
- Mix in chicken wings until really lightly coated with mixture.
- Grill chicken wings over warm rack for approximately 15 minutes, until really well done and skin blackened and crisp.
- Serve chicken wings, along with lime wedges.
