- 1/4 cup [60 mL] dry breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] Cajun Creole butter marinade
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] steak sauce
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] spicy brown mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] black pepper
- 2 pinches Cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch Cajun seasoning
- 1 pound [454 g] ground turkey breast
- 4 hamburger buns, open-up
- Lettuce leaves, to taste
- Tomato slices, to taste

- Prepare barbecue for direct cooking; preheat barbecue to medium intensity.
- Into a bowl, mix together dry breadcrumbs, egg, Cajun Creole butter marinade, lemon juice, steak sauce, spicy brown mustard, thyme, black pepper, Cayenne pepper and Cajun seasoning.
- Crumble ground turkey white, then well mix in breadcrumbs mixture.
- Shape mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Barbecue turkey patties onto hot barbecue rack for approximately 12 minutes on each side, until a meat thermometer inserted in the middle indicate 160°F [71°C], turning patties over at half-time.
- Serve turkey patties into hamburger buns, garnished to taste with lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
