Barbecue Coating for Beef or Poultry
Comments: An easy to prepare tasteful coating perfect to brush a piece of beef, a poultry or ground beef while barbecueing.
This recipe can be doubled, and maybe have enough for the whole summer!
Servings: Approximately 2 cups [500 mL]

  • 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] catsup
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] honey
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] prepared mustard
  • Well mix together all ingredients.
  • Refrigerate mixture until ready to use.
  • When using, only pour a little coating at a time into a small bowl, as, in order not to contaminate the coating, it really is important not to dip already used brush into remaining coating if you want to keep any excess coating for another use.
