- 1/4 cup [60 mL] mild chili powder
- 1/4 cup [60 g] sugar
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] oregano
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] freshly finely chopped thyme
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] finely grated lemon rind
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] kosher salt
- 9 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] minced dried onion
- 2 teaspoon [10 mL] ground ginger

- Well mix together all ingredients.
- Use to coat poultry pieces, meat or shellfish while barbecueing.
