Cheese Rolls

Comments: Serve as an appetizer, along with a vegetable juice.

  • 20 slices bacon
  • 20 slices bread
  • 1 cup [250 mL] cheese spread
  • Half cook bacon slices.
  • Cut crusts from slices of bread, flatten each slice with a rolling pin; generously spread with cheese spread.
  • Roll each slice of bread; wrap each roll with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  • Bake in a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven, turning rolls every once in a while, until golden brown.
