Meatballs
- 2 pounds [1 kg] ground beef
- 1 pack onion soup mix
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] salt substitute
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] breadcrumbs
- Butter or margarine
Sauce
- 10 ounces [310 mL] garlic barbecue sauce
- 5 ounces [155 mL] catsup
- 4 ounces [125 mL] sweet and sour sauce
- 5 ounces [155 mL] cherry sauce
- 10 ounces [310 mL] apple jelly

Meatballs
- Mix together ground beef, onion soup mix, egg, salt substitute and breadcrumbs.
- With your hands, shape mixture into tiny meatballs.
- Brown in melted butter or margarine.
- Meanwhile, to prepare sauce, mix and then heat together garlic barbecue sauce, catsup, sweet and sour sauce, cherry sauce and apple jelly.
- When sauce is hot, mix in meatballs before serving.
