- 1/4 pound [113 g] Gorgonzola or any other creamy Blue cheese
- 1/4 pound [113 g] cream cheese
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] Cognac
- Pepper, to taste
- Walnut halves

- Into a bowl or a food processor, beat Gorgonzola or Blue cheese together with cream cheese, until just smooth.
- Mix in chopped walnuts and Cognac; pepper.
- Transfer mixture into a decorative, 1-cup [250-mL] bowl.
- Smooth top of mixture; decorate with walnut halves.
- Will keep for up to 10 days, refrigerated.
