Cheesy Vegetable Tofu Spread

Comments: Serve along with plain or vegetable crackers or fresh bread slices.
  • 6 ounces [170 g] fine herbs bean curd [tofu], crumbled
  • 1/2 cup [115 g] grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] vegetables such as carrots, green, red ... peppers, celery, parsley, radishes..., cut into tiny pieces
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] light mayonnaise
  • 2 or 3 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon juice
  • Into a bowl, mix together crumbled bean curd, grated Cheddar cheese and cottage cheese, vegetable pieces, mayonnaise, Tabasco sauce and lemon juice.
  • Cover; refrigerate for approximately 45 minutes, before serving.
