- 4 finely chopped bacon slices
- 4 tablespoons [60 mL] finely chopped onion
- 8 ounces [227 g] cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] chopped parsley
- Salt
- Bagel halves

- Fry bacon bits until crunchy; reserve bacon bits and wipe frying pan with paper toweling.
- Fry chopped onion into the same frying pan until translucent.
- Mix together cream cheese, bacon bits, chopped onion and parsley.
- Salt to taste.
- Refrigerate for 3 hours.
- Spread over bagel halves.
