Buonissima Bruschettas

Servings: 20 slices
  • 1 Viennese bread or French bread stick
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] salad dressing, mayonnaise style
  • 1 cup [225 g] grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] stoned ripe olives, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 small garlic clove, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] pepper
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Slice bread into 20 slices.
  • Mix together salad dressing, Mozzarella cheese, ripe olives, chopped tomato, garlic, oregano and pepper; spread over bread slices.
  • Arrange slices onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake into preheated oven for 15 minutes, until cheese has melted.
  • Serve hot.
