- 3/4 cup [190 mL] salad dressing
- 2 cups [450 g] grated Cheddar cheese
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] crumbled cooked bacon [optional]
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] pepper
- 1 French bread stick

- Mix together salad dressing, grated Cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, crumbled bacon and pepper.
- Slice bread into 1/2-inch [1.3-cm] thick slices; half slices.
- Spread cheese mixture over bread slices; arrange onto a baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated 400°F [200°C] oven, for 10 minutes.
- Serve, hot.
