- Really fresh slices of bread
- Canned asparagus tips, well-drained

- Remove crusts from bread slices.
- Arrange 1 [or 2 tiny] asparagus on the edge of a slice of bread; tightly roll.
- Secure with one or two toothpicks, so that roll keeps its shape.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients; arrange onto a cookie sheet.
- Brown into a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven until just golden.
- Remove toothpicks; serve immediately.
