Asparagus Rolls

  • Really fresh slices of bread
  • Canned asparagus tips, well-drained
  • Remove crusts from bread slices.
  • Arrange 1 [or 2 tiny] asparagus on the edge of a slice of bread; tightly roll.
  • Secure with one or two toothpicks, so that roll keeps its shape.
  • Repeat with remaining ingredients; arrange onto a cookie sheet.
  • Brown into a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven until just golden.
  • Remove toothpicks; serve immediately.
