- 2 medium-size baking potatoes
- 1 1/4 cups [285 g] Canadian Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] finely chopped cooked ham
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] finely chopped green onion
- Melted butter
- Salt and pepper

- Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
- Peel potatoes.
- Cut one thin slice at both ends of each potato.
- Cut potatoes into 1/4-inch [6-mm] thick slices.
- Dry potato slices using paper toweling; arrange slices side-by-side onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Brush potato slices with melted butter; sprinkle with salt and pepper
- Bake into preheated oven for 10 minutes, until tender.
- Into a bowl, mix together Swiss cheese, chopped ham and chopped green onion; evenly sprinkle over potato slices.
- Bake into preheated oven for 5 minutes more, to melt the cheese.
