Bacon Almond Croustade Roll-Ups

  • 48 slices soft bread [crusts removed]
  • Melted butter
  • Fresly minced parsley
Filling
  • 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] slivered toasted almonds
  • 1/3 cup [75 g] finely grated Swiss cheese
  • 1 chopped green onion
  • Mix together all filling ingredients.
  • Flatten bread slices 1/4-inch [1-cm] thick, using a rolling pin.
  • Spread 1 heaping tablespoon [15 mL] filling along one side of each slice of bread.
  • Roll-up.
  • Half roll.
  • Transfer onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Brush rolls with melted butter.
  • Just before baking, sprinkle rolls with minced parsley.
  • Bake into a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven for 15 minutes, until golden.
