- 8 ounces [227 g] Monterey Jack cheese

- Slice cheese into 1/2-inch [1.3-cm] thick slices.
- Half each slice.
- Arrange cheese pieces 2 to 3 inches [5 to 7.5 cm] apart, onto a non-stick cookie sheet.
- Bake into a preheated 350°F [180°F] oven, for 10 minutes.
- Immediately remove from cookie sheet; drain onto paper toweling.
