- 1 [8-ounce / 227-g] package mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] light sour cream
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL]
2% milk
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] freshly snipped chives
- 45 round melba toasts
- Toasted sesame seeds
- Sweet red pepper tiny dices
- Snipped chives

- Into a food processor, combine shredded cheese, sour cream and milk; process until quite smooth.
- Stir in snipped chives.
- Spread teaspoonfuls [5 mL] cheese mixture onto melba toasts.
- Broil under preheated broiler for 1 minute, until cheese melts.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
- Garnish with tiny sweet red pepper dices and snipped chives.
- Serve immediately.
