  • 1 cup [250 mL] whole-wheat flour
  • 1 cup [140 g] all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] soy flour
  • 1 cup [250 mL] rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons [10 mL] baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons [45 mL] egg powder
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] milk powder
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] cinnamon
  • 1 cup [225 g] margarine
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] raisins
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] walnuts
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] honey
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] molasses
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] oil
  • 2 cups [500 mL] water
  • Mix together all dry ingedients [whole-wheat flour, all-purpose flour, soy flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, egg powder, milk powder and cinnamon].
  • Cut in margarine.
  • Mix in raisins and walnuts.
  • Then mix in honey, molasses, oil and water.
  • Bake into a greased bread loaf pan, into a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven, for about 2 hours.
