IngredientsPreparation
  • 2 cups [500 mL] bisquik dough mix
  • 2/3 cup [160 mL] milk
  • 1/2 cup [115 g] grated Cheddar cheese [2 ounces / 57 g]

  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] garlic powder
  • Preheat oven to 450°F [230°C].
  • Mix together dough mix, milk and grated cheese for 30 seconds, until smooth.
  • If dough is too sticky, add some bisquik dough mix [1/4 cup / 60 mL] so that it is easier to handle.
  • Turn dough onto a flat surface, well sprinkled with dough mix.
  • Shape dough into a ball; knead, turning dough ten times.
  • Roll dough until 3/4-inch [2-cm] thick.
  • Cut dough with a floured round mold or glass.
  • Transfer circles onto an ungreased cookie sheet; bake into preheated oven until golden brown, for 10 minutes.
  • As soon as taken out of the oven, brush rolls with a mixture of melted butter or margarine and garlic powder.
  • Serve immediately, really hot.
