- 9 3/4 ounces [278 mL] cold water
- 1 tablespoon + 1 1/2 teaspoons [22.5 mL] skimmed milk powder
- 1 tablespoon + 1 1/2 teaspoons [22.5 g] sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- 1 tablespoonful [15 g] margarine
- 3 cups [420 g] all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons [3.5 g] yeast - for bread machines

- It is better, yet not essential, to wait until water is at room temperature.
- Mix together all ingredients, except yeast, into bread machine bowl.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture; add yeast.
- Select command for a medium-dark, dark or light bread, to taste.
