- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups [210 g] flour
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons [22.5 g] sugar
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter or shortening
- 1 cup [250 mL] lukewarm water

- Mix together all ingredients, in the order given.
- Bake into a bread machine, following manufacturer's instructions.
