IngredientsPreparation
  • 6 cups [840 g] flour
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] salt
  • 2 cups [500 mL] cold water
  • Preheat oven to 400°F [200°C].
  • Into a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Make a well in the center, pour in cold water; using a wooden spoon, mix in a little flour mixture at a time.
  • When dough gets too difficult to work with the spoon, it is time to knead it, your hands lightly floured, slowly mixing in all of the remaining flour.
  • Shape dough into a ball; half the ball.
  • Shape halves into 2 balls; center each ball onto a greased, floured cookie sheet.
  • Lightly press each ball with your fingertips, to flatten a little.
  • Bake in preheated oven, for 20 to 25 minutes.
