- 2 cups [500 mL] biscuit baking mix
- 2/3 cup [180 mL] milk
- 1/2 cup [115 g] shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup [60 g] butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] garlic powder

- Preheat oven to 450°F [230°C].
- Mix together baking mix, milk and shredded Cheddar cheese into a soft dough.
- Beat vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Drop dough by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake into preheated oven for approximately 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown.
- Mix together melted butter or margarine and garlic powder.
- Brush seasoned melted butter over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.
- Serve warm.
