- 1 pound [454 g] soft bean curd
- 2 cups [500 mL] oatmeal
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] catsup
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] Worcestershire sauce
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] pepper
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] oil
- Individual wheat buns
- Garnishings, to taste

- Break-up bean curd; well dry.
- Grossly grind oatmeal; add to bean curd.
- Mix in catsup, Worcestershire sauce, minced onion, dry mustard, sea salt and pepper.
- Shape into small patties.
- Heat oil into a heavy bottom frypan; brown patties, over low heat, for approximately 8 minutes on each side.
- Arrange into wheat buns.
- Garnish to taste and serve.
