Baked Tofu

  • 1 pound [454 g] firm bean curd, diced
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] cumin
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Cayenne powder
  • Minced garlic, to taste
  • 1 1/3 teaspoons [6.5 mL] tamari sauce
  • 1 1/3 teaspoons [6.5 mL] liquid aminos
  • Mix together all ingredients into a bowl.
  • Let stand for 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Arrange seasoned bean curd dices onto an oiled cookie sheet.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for 40 to 45 minutes.
