- 6 oranges
- 3 grapefruits
- 2 lemons
- 2 limes
- 6 cups [1.5 L] cold water
- 1 cup [200 g] sugar
- 12 ice cubes [optional]

- Peel and cut oranges, grapefruits, lemons and limes into small pieces, reserving rinds.
- With your fingers, squeeze each pieces of fruit, reserving juice into a bowl.
- Pour cold water and reserved juice into a jug; add sugar and shake.
- Chop enough reserved rinds to get 1 cup [250 mL].
- Mix rinds and, if desired, ice cubes into lemonade.
- Cover jug; refrigerate for approximately 3 hours.
