- 1 cup [200 g] sugar
- 4 cups [1 L] water
- Approximately 20 fresh mint sprigs
- 48 ounces [1.5 L] cold pineapple juice
- 48 ounces [1.5 L] cold orange juice
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] cold lemon juice
- 12 small bottles cold soft drink such as 7-Up or Ginger Ale
- 2 trays ice cubes

- Simmer together sugar, water and mint sprigs, for approximately 5 minutes.
- Set aside for many hours or overnight, to let mint flavor sink in.
- Just before serving, strain mint mixture into a punch bowl.
- Add, stirring, cold pineapple juice, orange juice and lemon juice.
- Slowly pour in soft drink.
- Add ice cubes.
