- 6 cups [1.5 L] water
- 3 small tea bags
- 1 cup [200 g] sugar
- 10 tablespoons [150 mL] lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] almond flavoring
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] vanilla

- Into a large saucepan, bring 4 cups [1 L] of the water to a boil; bring remaing 2 cups [500 mL] water to a boil into a smaller saucepan.
- Add tea bags to 2 cups [500 mL] boiling water, into smaller saucepan; leave to steep for 10 minutes.
- Add sugar to 4 cups [1 L] boiling water into large saucepan; leave to boil for 5 minutes.
- Stir almond flavoring, vanilla and tea, after removing tea bags, into boiling sweetened water.
- Serve, or refrigerate until ready to reheat just before serving.
