  • Unpeeled pumpkin chunks
  • Butter
  • Cream
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper
  • Steam [to retain color and flavor] unpeeled pumpkin chunks for 30 to 45 minutes, until soft.
  • Scrape the pulp away from the skin.
  • Puree pumpkin pulp.
  • Mix in a little butter and a little cream.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Thoroughly mix.
