1 tablespoon [30 mL] = 15 calories, 0.1 g proteins, 0 g of fat, 3.8 g carbohydrates, 0.3 g fibres.

IngredientsPreparation
  • 1 [14-ounce / 398-mL] can unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] apple juice, made of unsweetened frozen concentrate
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] artificial sweetener granules
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] ground clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] salt
  • Warm sterilised jar
  • Into a large casserole, mix together applesauce, apple juice, sweetener, cinnamon, ground clove and salt.
  • Simmer over low heat, partly covered, for 40 to 50 minutes, until thick.
  • Will keep for 3 weeks, into tightly closed jars.
