Caramel Butter

If you leave this caramel for too long on the counter top, it is quite possible that you will find your children licking their fingers!

| Ingredients | Preparation |
- 1/3 cup [75 g] butter
- 4 cups [1 L] brown sugar
- 2 cups [500 mL] corn syrup
- 1 [10 1/2-ounce / 300-mL] can sweetened condensed milk
|
- Melt butter into a saucepan.
- Mix in brown sugar and corn syrup.
- Bring to a boil; boil for exactly 3 minutes, not more [really important].
- Remove from heat and stir in sweetened condensed milk, until well combined.
