- 1 cup [250 mL] lemon juice
- 4 cups [1 L] pineapple juice
- 4 cups [1 L] orange juice
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] pineapple chunks, with juice
- 2 oranges, nicely cut
- 5 ounces [150 mL] red Maraschino cherries, with juice
- 3 cups [750 mL] spice amber rum or any other rum, to taste
- Lots of ice cubes
- Ice cubes with a cherry frozen inside the cubes [optional]
- 2 1/2 cups [625 mL] ginger beer

- Mix together lemon juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, pineapple chunks with juice, orange shapes and cherries with juice into a punch bowl.
- Pour in rum; refrigerate for 1 hour, more for more taste.
- Just before serving, add ice cubes [some plain and, if desired, some decorated with a cherry].
- Pour in cold ginger beer, for a sparkling punch.
