  • 3 cups [750 mL] really strong hot coffee
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] thinly sliced orange rind
  • 1 orange, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon [15 g] sugar
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] whipped cream
  • Pour coffee into a heat-proof glass coffee pot.
  • Add orange rind and slices.
  • Warm over low heat for 15 minutes.
  • Do not boil.
  • Stir in sugar.
  • Filter mixture through a strainer, into cups.
  • Top with dollops of whipped cream.
  • Serve.
