Brandy Coffee

  • 1 1/2 ounces [45 mL] Cognac
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] brown sugar
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Orange rind
  • Lemon rind
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] coffee
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Cointreau [optional]
  • Mix together Cognac, brown sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick, orange rind and lemon rind into a small saucepan.
  • Heat over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Stir in coffee.
  • Filter mixture into a coffee cup.
  • Stir in Cointreau and serve.
