- 1 cup [250 mL] ground coffee blend
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 5 whole cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 g] sugar
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] chocolate sauce
- 4 cups [1 L] cold water
- Orange Liqueur [optional]
- Whipped cream
- Orange rind
- Lemon rind

- Transfer ground coffee, cinnamon sticks, cloves and nutmeg into the basket or the filter of a 6-cup [1.5-L] or larger coffeemaker.
- Pour sugar and chocolate sauce into coffee pot.
- Pour cold water into water compartment; have water drip through the basket, into the coffee pot.
- Stir coffee gently before pouring it into individual cups.
- If desired add 1 tablespoon [15 mL] Orange Liqueur to each serving, or to taste.
- Top with whipped cream; decorate with orange rind and lemon rind.
