- 1 1/4 ounces [37.5 mL] Irish whiskey
- 1 cup [250 mL] very hot coffee
- 1 teaspoon [5 g] fruit sugar [very fine sugar], optional
- Whipped cream

- Into a stemmed heat-proof glass, pour and flambe Irish whiskey.
- Fill glass with really hot coffee, up to 1-inch [2.5-cm] from the rim.
- If desired, stir in fruit sugar.
- Top with a spoonful whipped cream.
- Arrange a napkin all around the glass.
- Serve onto a saucer, along with a spoon.
