Stronger Irish Coffee
  • 1 1/4 ounces [37.5 mL] Irish whiskey
  • 1 cup [250 mL] very hot coffee
  • 1 teaspoon [5 g] fruit sugar [very fine sugar], optional
  • Whipped cream
  • Napkin
  • Saucer
  • Spoon
  • Into a stemmed heat-proof glass, pour and flambe Irish whiskey.
  • Fill glass with really hot coffee, up to 1-inch [2.5-cm] from the rim.
  • If desired, stir in fruit sugar.
  • Top with a spoonful whipped cream.
  • Arrange a napkin all around the glass.
  • Serve onto a saucer, along with a spoon.
