Traditionally, this Indian spice mixture is used to flavor sweetened tea au lait.
Use 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] mixture for 6 servings, adding mixture to tea while infusing.

2 parts cinnamon stick
2 parts cloves
2 parts green cardamom seeds
1 part ground ginger
1/2 part peppercorns
Separately, into a non-stick frypan watching carefully not to let burn, just roast cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom seeds, ground ginger and then peppercorns.
Using a mortar, a coffee or a spice grinder, crush together all ingredients.
