- 3 teaspoons [15 mL] gunpowder green tea
- A little more than 2 cups [500 mL] water
- 1 handful freshly crushed mint
- 8 sugar cubes

- Spoon green tea into a teapot.
- Pour in 1 cup [250 mL] boiling water, then stir.
- Add freshly crushed mint and sugar cubes; pour in remaining boiling water.
- Immediately fill a glass with tea, then pour tea back into teapot.
- Repeat 6 to 7 times before serving, into glasses.
