Japanese-Style Tea

  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] green tea [macha] per serving
  • Just boiling water
  • Spoon green tea into individual tea cups.
  • Fill cups with boiling water.
  • Using a bamboo whip, vigourously whip mixture for a few seconds.
  • Tea should be dissolved and a little foam, which will enhance the flavor and intensify both the taste and the aroma of 'macha', should appear on top of tea.
