- 4 ounces [125 mL] Brandy
- 2 ounces [60 mL] Cointreau
- 8 cloves
- 4 pieces orange rind
- 4 pieces lemon rind
- Boiling hot filter black coffee

- Pour Brandy and Cointreau into a small casserole.
- Add cloves, orange rind pieces and lemon rind pieces.
- Heat over low heat removing casserole from heat just before mixture starts to boil.
- Meanwhile, fill 4 tall see-through coffee mugs up to 3/4th with boiling hot black coffee.
- Ignate Brandy Cointreau mixture with a long match; evenly delicately pour over coffee in mugs.
- Serve immediately, still blazing.
