Devil's Coffee
Comments: Make sure to have enough boiling hot filter black coffee to fill up to 3/4th, 4 tall see-through coffee mugs.

  • 4 ounces [125 mL] Brandy
  • 2 ounces [60 mL] Cointreau
  • 8 cloves
  • 4 pieces orange rind
  • 4 pieces lemon rind
  • Boiling hot filter black coffee
  • Pour Brandy and Cointreau into a small casserole.
  • Add cloves, orange rind pieces and lemon rind pieces.
  • Heat over low heat removing casserole from heat just before mixture starts to boil.
  • Meanwhile, fill 4 tall see-through coffee mugs up to 3/4th with boiling hot black coffee.
  • Ignate Brandy Cointreau mixture with a long match; evenly delicately pour over coffee in mugs.
  • Serve immediately, still blazing.
