Nuts'n Chunks Cookies

  • 2 [1-ounce / 28-g each] squares semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup [60 g] butter
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups [210 g] flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] baking soda
  • 1 [6-ounce / 170-g] package white chocolate chips, chopped
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped pecans
  • Into a microwe-safe bowl, melt semi-chocolate squares.
  • Add peanut butter, brown sugar and butter; beat until creamy.
  • Beat in milk and egg, until fluffly.
  • Stir in flour, baking soda, white chocolate chunks and chopped pecans.
  • Drop teaspoonsfuls [5 mL] mixture onto an ungreased baking sheet, approximately 1-inch [2.5-cm] apart.
  • Flatten slightly.
  • Bake into a preheated 375°F [190°C] oven, for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Do not overbake.
  • Cool onto baking sheet 5 minutes before removing onto a rack.
